Ever Active Schools is hosting Dr Jon McGavock who will explore research, challenges and successes in FNMI schools in Canada. The session will highlight successful interventions and detail key strategies in gaining full community engagement. The session will have the voice of research, community, teachers, and students.

Alberta Schools
Ever Active Schools is hosting an engaging conversation on school policy in Alberta. Many schools have turned to policy to improve and sustain their nutrition and wellness in a school environment but the full implementation of policy has been a challenge. Participants will discuss the benefits of policy and current support for policy implementation in the school environment. Join school administration, health, education and policy development professionals to discuss the next steps in policy development and implementation in Alberta schools.
