Alberta Healthy School Community Wellness Fund
Elizabeth Coldbeck, Sean Stolp and Emma Wilkins work with the Alberta Healthy School Community Wellness Fund, housed in the Centre for Health Promotion Studies. Dr. Kim Raine is the Principal Investigator and a Professor at the Centre.
Angela Bayduza
Angela L. Bayduza is a PhD Candidate in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta. She is currently putting the final touches on her dissertation, taking the last steps towards completing her degree requirements.

Cindy joined APPLE Schools with excitement at the opportunity to work with FNMI communities in their journeys of 'mino-pimatisiwin'.
Dr. Charlene Elliott
Dr. Charlene Elliott holds a Canada Research Chair in Food Marketing, Policy and Children’s Health. She is Associate Professor of Communication at the University of Calgary, jointly appointed with the Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Kinesiology.
Dr. Doug Gleddie
Dr. Doug Gleddie is currently an Assistant Professor at Grant MacEwan University and also runs ACTIVE Consulting.
Dr. Jon McGavock
Dr. McGavock is an associate professor and CIHR New Investigator at the Manitoba Institute of Child Health. His lab is focused on studying the role of physical activity in the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes in youth.
Dr. Nicholas Holt
Dr. Nicholas Holt is an associate professor in the Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation at the University of Alberta, where he directs the Child and Adolescent Sport and Activity (CASA) lab.
Dr. Shelly Russell-Mayhew
Dr. Russell-Mayhew is a registered psychologist and associate professor in Educational Studies in Psychology in the Faculty of Education at the University of Calgary.
Dr. Steve Manske
Steve Manske is a Senior Scientist at the Propel Centre for Population Health Impact and a Research Associate Professor in Applied Health Sciences at the University of Waterloo.
Lorna Muise
Lorna is the Coordinator of the School Health Program for Alberta Health Services - Central Zone. The Program provides supports to schools and divisions in the Central Zone has they create healthy school communities.
Megan Purcell
Megan completed a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Victoria in 2008. Her research analyzed health policy related to childhood overweight and chronic disease from a children's rights perspective.
Mike Cooper
Mike is a principal from Edmonton Public Schools who has been seconded to Alberta Education for the past 3 years. His primary area of responsibility has been the education strategy in the Alberta Mentoring Partnership.
Rhonda Patton
Rhonda Patton is the Manager of Healthy Child and Youth Development in Health Promotion Disease and Injury Prevention with Alberta Health Services Population and Public Health.
